2 cups tomato juice or whole canned tomatoes (puree yourself)
1 tbsp white vinegar
2 tbsp honey
bay leaf (optional)
1/2 tsp salt
pinch of pepper
Mix all ingredients except honey and simmer on stove until think, stirring often to prevent sticking.
When almost to desired thickness, add honey and complete cooking.
Ladle into ketchup bottle and seal immediately, or place in small containers and freeze.
